It was all hands on deck at the waterside bowlo yesterday, with action sports lords Oakley hosting their nearest and dearest for a spring party. Starting with lawn bowls on the green, the night quickly moved inside as team riders, ambassadors and friends swapped balls for beats on the dance floor (soundtracked by DJ Richy Penny). For once, the view at Clovelly wasn’t the main event with the Oakley team decking out the waterside venue with a claw machine full of goodies, a vintage TV installation, and a photo booth.
Current top-five WSL surfer Ethan Ewing, surf legend Julian Wilson, and Andrew Johns were among those who took the opportunity to take the Hydras for a whirl, with the Fellrs, Mexink, Balters, and Canadian Clubs keeping the crew well refreshed. Check out the gallery above for all the highlights:
