We hit Brisvegas for BIGSOUND this week, and last night was one for the ages as we celebrated local talent with Red Bull Sound Select.

How about this for a mixed bill? DZ Deathrays, B Wise, Sampa The Great & Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. Big! We knew great things were in store when we found out that I OH YOU Records were curating the damn thing, and that was confirmed when DZ Deathrays covered ‘Sabotage’ by Beastie Boys. They also shot shirts out of a gun. Flying shirts are our favourite. See all the pictures above, while the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender kicks off in Sydney tonight:
