Splendour in the Grass’ long-awaited return went off with a muddy bang this past weekend, pushing through the elements for one of its most memorable years yet…

Despite a less than ideal start, the remaining two days of Byron Bay’s biggest festival more than made up for the initial hiccups. Mud become grass and gumboots transcended into peak fashion as punters gathered their wits about them. Such efforts were well rewarded, with a top tier assortment of local and international artists lighting up the Parklands with intoxicating energy and vigour, despite the not-so-picturesque weather conditions.

Highlights from across the weekend came in the form of the mass congregation that filled the Red Bull Tent’s bumping dance floor on the Friday, Jack Harlow’s superstar set on the Saturday and Tyler, the Creator raining hip hop mayhem down on the amphitheatre crowd on the Sunday. Of course, there were countless more highlights, and luckily, there was a team of photographers on the ground capturing all the action. Get caught up via the gallery above:
