The team behind one of Sydney’s finest institutions, The World Bar, reunited at Kings Cross Hotel last night for a full deep dive into the club’s storied past. Three generations of Worldie staff and faithful punters were all in attendance, with the multiple levels of the Kings Cross Hotel quickly being filled to the brim as we were taken back to the glory days of the beloved club.
Resident World Bar DJs from way back when also made their way onto the decks, with the likes of Banquet, Korky Buchek, Enschway and more all throwing down, armed with the songs that warmed the Worldie dance floors over its golden years. Add the fact that there was an endless supply of the iconic World Bar teapots & cocktails on offer, and you’d be hard pressed to find an event in Sydney last night with better vibes or energy.
