You open one eye. You’re hungover, in a bed you’re hoping is you’re own, with assorted beer bottles like bread crumbs from the front door and you think that’s your friend snoring by your feet, but you can’t be sure. Was it the scotch? Did we end up getting to the club? The last thing you remember is ‘Africa’ by Toto and then you know. There’s not a chance in hell you’re getting out of bed today.

Enter Dominos, saviour of hangovers, who have just rolled out a feature where you can tweet them the pizza emoji and have your regular order delivered. Of course, this is being trial run in the United States, but we only have to bide our time here in Australia.

“It’s the epitome of convenience,” Patrick Doyle, CEO at Domino’s, told USA Today. “We’ve got this down to a five-second exchange.”

First, you’ll have to register your Twitter handle in Domino’s Easy Order system and then specify your topping preferences, payment information, and so on. After you tweet the emoji, Domino’s will send you a direct message to confirm your order.

Despite that taking some hangover navigation – you’ll still be able to just tweet a pizza emoji and the real thing will simply appear. The times we’re living in.
