Chloe Grace Moretz stars as the ‘wayward’ Cameron post in the trailer for Desiree Akhavan’s new film The Miseducation Of Cameron Post

Having taken out the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in January, there’s been a lot of buzz surround Desiree Akhavan’s second feature-length film, The Miseducation of Cameron Post and now cinephiles can get their first look at the coming-of-age movie, with the trailer dropping just this morning – and it looks very, very good.

Here we see Moretz as Cameron Post, the orphaned teenager who is sent to live with her conservative aunt after both of her parent die. Heavy right? It gets worse for her as she is forced to attend a christian gay conversion camp in order to rid of what her aunt believes is an ‘illness.’

The film which also stars Sasha Lane (American Honey, Heart Beats Loud) and Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant) be hitting cinemas around the country August 30th.
