Ever wanted to see Batman take on your favourite Marvel heroes? You’re in luck, as according to reports, Christian Bale (easily the best Batman, change my mind) is confirmed to be playing the villain in the upcoming Marvel smash Thor: Love and Thunder. The good news was recently confirmed by Tessa Thompson during an interview on the red carpet for the season 3 premiere of Westworld.

“Christian Bale is going to play our villain, which is going to be fantastic. I’ve read the script. I can’t tell you much. Lots of exciting text messages exchanged between Natalie and I. We’re going to have fun. Taika is writing and directing. Some familiar faces. Some new people coming into the mix.”

Director Taika Waititi is returning to write and direct the upcoming superhero blockbuster, with Natalie Portman set to return as Jane Foster, joining Aussie favourite Chris Hemsworth and Creed star Tessa Thompson. With a stellar cast like this, there’s no way the superhero flick won’t deliver…
