Cocaine Bear is easily the best film name of the year…

We’re well and truly reaching the tail end of 2023 now, and with it, we’ve gotten another fresh Netty’s lineup for the month of September. Following a stacked August lineup that featured Spiderman, psycho-doll epic M3GAN, Gladiator and more, it seems the streamer has opted to go for a more scare-focused list of titles for the ninth month of the year.

Headlined by Cocaine Bear, the epic low-budget film about you guessed it, a bear hopped up on coke, leads the pack, along with beloved horror film Scream. Joining them are a bunch of spine-tingling Netflix originals, including Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons: Season 7 and megachurch exposè, The Darkness within La Luz del Mundo. It seems whoever is doing the programming for Netflix’s monthly lineups is definitely feeling just a bit angsty right now, which is good for my growing horror film addiction.
