Who said anything about “safe”? – we now have the teaser and release date for Brad Pitt’s F1.

Brad Pitt’s highly anticipated Formula One film is revving its engines and heading to the big screen on June 25, 2025. The film, aptly titled F1, sees Pitt take on the role of Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver making a dramatic comeback with the fictional APXGP team. Joining him in the fast lane is British actor Damson Idris as rookie sensation Joshua Pearce.

Joseph Kosinski of Top Gun: Maverick fame in the director’s seat, so you can expect it to be a nonstop thrillride. And the production team includes Hollywood heavyweight Jerry Bruckheimer and Formula One legend Lewis Hamilton.

The freshly dropped teaser trailer promises heart-racing action with Pitt and Idris behind the wheels of souped-up Formula Two cars. Filmed on iconic tracks like Silverstone in the UK and Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium during real F1 race weekends, the footage delivers authentic racing thrills. The APXGP team’s pit garage is decked out with all the high-tech trimmings, from mechanics to data screens, making it a true revhead’s paradise:
