Judy tearing it up…

Judge Judy, who’s actually the highest-paid personality on TV if you didn’t know, has announced that her reality show will come to an end after 25 years on air. The TV host appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show this week to announce that the 2020-21 season of the show will be the shows 25th season and will in fact be its last. But don’t worry, Judy has got you covered with 25 years of re-runs, which have been sold for over $150 million.

“CBS sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilise the repeats of my program… Now they have 25 years of my re-runs”.

But Jude will be back lightening quick, announcing her new show Judy Justice which will start the year after Judge Judy ends.

“Judge Judy, you’ll be able to see next year — a full year, all new shows… The following couple of years, you should be able to catch all the re-runs that CBS has sold to the stations that are currently carrying Judge Judy, and Judy Justice will be going elsewhere. Isn’t that fun?”

There’s a lot of Judies being thrown around here, but regardless, respect to Judy for killing it for 25 straight years. We promise not to end up in your courtroom any time soon…
