LEGO is continuing to prove that its partnership with Nintendo is more than productive, following up its numerous Super Mario sets with its own take on the OG Nintendo Console.
The recreation features 2,646 pieces and allows you to recreate the console, controller, game cartridge and even an old-school retro TV. And get this, the set features an opening slot that allows you to insert the cartridge & the controller comes with a connecting cable and plug. You know where we’re going with this. Once the TV set is connected, you can control the flat Mario figure on the screen, while the action brick gives Mario specific options to respond to various enemies, obstacles and power ups.
Bring the pixels to life with the #LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System set! Assemble your own console and retro TV, then turn the crank to make 8-bit Mario move across the screen! Add your LEGO Mario figure for even more fun!
