Can already tell this is gonna be a huge hit…

Netflix has once again come through with the interesting docuseries’ that will keep us up for nights on end, announcing a new seven episode docuseries about people who own and breed lions, tigers and other big ass cats. The series is set for release on March 20, giving us just enough time to read up on everything lion and cat related so we’re not going in blind.

The series genres around self proclaimed “Tiger King’ Joe Exotic, who for years owned a large cat facility and dabbled in magic, drugs and homemade country music videos. You really can’t make this stuff up.

But beneath it all is a really important message about the number of felines being bird for use in roadside zoos and pet farms (only being used for play sessions and photo ops). Once these cats reach adulthood, many of them are inadequately housed or euthanised all together. Pretty heartbreaking right?

Props to Netflix for bringing that to the forefront in the most whacky and sure to be entertaining way, safe to say we’re extremely keen to get our large cat fix on March 20.
