After years of waiting and eager anticipation, AMC-owned streaming service Shudder has finally debuted in Australia. The launch was first announced away back in 2018 without an official date, and was then pushed back due to technical issues.

The platform offers a slew of Shudder original films and tv shows such as Beach House, Eli Roth’s History of Horror and A Discovery of Witches. It also throws it back to the golden days of the horror genre, offering numerous classics such as the Halloween franchise. And to add a little hilarity to the experience, when you’re on the site, the cursor literally trembles in fear when you hover it over a button (that feature is gonna get used so much in the first week then not at all after, mark my words).

However, the Aussie version of the service has a slightly smaller library than that of the U.S. service, with notable titles such as AMC’s The Walking Dead not available on it, instead belonging to Foxtel locally.
