Sacha Baron Cohen has been hard at work promoting the new Borat film, staying in character to drum up buzz for the much-awaited comedy like only he can. It’s fair to say the new flick has definitely stirred up controversy as well, one of the main scenes concerning Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani in a pretty sketchy position with actress Maria Bakalova, whose character is 15 years old. Trump was asked about that very scene the other day, which prompted him to fire a sneaky shot at Cohen. What he probably wasn’t expecting however, is that Sacha Baron Cohen is a fucking savage, and is willing to drop the Borat persona if need be.
Specifically, when asked about the Giuliani incident, Trump said he he didn’t know anything about it. Then, deflecting like only he could, he claimed he was the target of a Baron Cohen prank 15 years ago, claiming that Baron Cohen was a “Phony guy. And I don’t find him funny. To me, he was a creep.”
Cohen was totally ready, replying on Twitter “Donald—I appreciate the free publicity for Borat! I admit, I don’t find you funny either. But yet the whole world laughs at you. “I’m always looking for people to play racist buffoons, and you’ll need a job after Jan. 20. Let’s talk!”

Pretty intense, I definitely wouldn’t wanna be on Cohen’s bad side. It seems Giuliani isn’t the only member of the Trump administration that the actor’s got dirt on either, with a deleted scene from the film finding Bakalova’s character messing around with Donald Trump Jr. Fingers crossed we get to see that scene soon.
