Well deserved…

Odds are you’ve seen that viral TikTok of the bloke skateboarding down the street while downing some Ocean Spray cranberry juice and listening to ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac. It’s a gorgeous little vid, and it got so much traction it even prompted Mick Fleetwood himself to recreate it. But the vid is actually proving to be more than a 15 minutes of fame for skateboarder Nathan Apodaca, with the clip getting so big that Ocean Spray sent him a free truck, full of Ocean Spray Juice. On top of that, it’s actually helping him to make a deposit on a house, which is just so dope on its own.

Speaking on his newfound financial stability, Apodaca (AKA @420doggface208) said “I can pay my phone bill on time, and with the donations I was blessed with, that’s helping me get a down payment for a house and my lady has a savings that she’s been saving for over 20 years, so she’s throwing that in too. Hopefully I’ll be getting into a house pretty soon. It’s just been a little bit better, you know what I mean?”

Although his life has been turned upside down by the video and he’s essentially TikTok famous now (3.5 million followers!), don’t expect him to change any time soon, with Apodaca saying “I’m gonna keep skateboarding and doing my longboard videos because those make me feel good. My little dance videos, my little skits that I do, it’s just exciting to me. It’s fun and exciting because I get to see the joy that it brings people.
