The Weinstein revelations keep coming…

As time continues to pass, more revelations about Harvey Weinstein continue to come to light, but this time it also concerns Sopranos star James Gandolfini. While promoting their new podcast Talking Sopranos on The Joe Rogan Experience, stars from the acclaimed show Steve Schirripa and Michael Imperioli gave the deets on Gandalfini’s sour relationship with Weinstein. According to the pair, Weinstein was pressuring Gandolfini to appear on David Letterman, but Gandolfini wasn’t having it.

“I was in Jim’s trailer and he had just did the movie with Brad Pitt, a mob movie, and he said ‘Harvey Weinstein called and he wants me to do Letterman and I said I don’t do talk shows,'” Schirripa said. “And he keeps calling and he got f**king nasty with Jim. And Jim said ‘I will beat the f**k out of Harvey Weinstein if he f**king calls me again! I will beat the f**k out of him! For the money he paid me, I’m not f**king doing it.’ Swear to God. And this is all before the Harvey Weinstein shit, when he was still the king shit. This was 2012.”

Gandolfini had well-known dislike of appearing on talk shows, so this is totally understandable. It just goes to show how much of a bully Weinstein was, being more than happy to harass a well-known actor like Gandalfini. If you want to see the pair discuss it in full, the Gandolfini/ Weinstein conversation starts around an hour and 45 minutes in. Check it below.
