The most Steve-O marketing ever…

Continuing his trademark acts of insanity, Jackass star and comedic legend Steve-O has gone to the next level to promote his new special Gnarly. Some people make appearances on talk shows, some podcasts, hell, there are plenty of ways people can drum up buzz for their upcoming projects. But the American comedian has properly outdone himself this time around, duct-taping himself to a billboard in Los Angeles to promote his new special.

Writing on Instagram while up on said billboard, Steve-O wrote “I’m attached to a billboard right now,” along with assurances that he had a team of professionals attach him safely, so that there was “zero chance” of him falling.

“I’m happy to just hang out, and really want the world to know about this project I worked so hard on. It’s called Gnarly”, he wrote on the post.

News spread around LA rather fast, with images of Steve-O on the billboard circulating all social medias (even citizen alerts) at lightening pace. A crowd even gathered below to show him support. However, after about an hour, police and firefights also got wind of the eccentric marketing tactic, arriving at the scene to get him down.

I mean, the tactic definitely worked, and everyone is talking about him now. So, mission accomplished hey? Check out Twitters response to the move below.
