An Australian teen has gone viral on social media following a fiery exchange he shared with reporters outside of a Queensland police station. Footage of the interaction was shared over the weekend, and shows the 18-year-old — who was arrested for allegedly robbing a convenience store with a machete — unleashing on a pair of journalists on the scene.
After confronting the man outside the police station, the reporters question whether he would be fighting the charges, to which he replies “yes cunt” before declaring “F**k you 7News, f*** you 9News!” The man later demanded to take the journalists’ microphones, and had some choice jokes when asked how his night in the watchhouse had been. “Yeah pretty good.”
An 18-year old is accused of robbing a Gold Coast service station at knife-point.
The young man allegedly demanded money from a shop attendant while armed with a machete.

“Your mum came around and she came to visit me, I had a pretty good time,” he replied. The man then moved on to the 7News reporter, declaring that he was “going to see your sister.” The video has since sent social media into a tizzy, with many users drawing comparisons to the similarly unfazed Corey Worthington during his now-infamous interview with A Current Affair in 2008.
Worthington was scolded by host Leila McKinnon, who questioned whether he had any remorse after throwing a party at his parents house. Appearing shirtless with a flat cap and nipple ring, Worthington doled out multiple zingers during the interview, the most famous being when McKinnon requested he take off his yellow sunglasses (which should be preserved in the the National Museum of Australia).

“Nah I’ll leave these on, I like them,” Worthington quipped. “I’ll say sorry but I’m not taking off my glasses, because they’re famous.” Then, when asked what he’d say to prospective party planners, Worthington concluded “Get me to do it for them.” See for yourself how Worthington compares to his new protege with the full ACA video below.
