Promo at its finest…

Sacha Baron Cohen has hit the media circuit as Borat, and he’s properly firing on all cylinders. His latest instance of insane promotion has taken him to Jimmy Kimmel live, and he’s brought that 2020 twist you were hoping for.

The Kazakh journalist entered in his classic grey suit and moustache, sitting down for what you’d expect to be a normal interview to promote and plug his new film. But then again, he came out with a canister and a bunch of wild contraptions, so any chance of this being a normal interview was lost almost immediately. After giving an insane explanation of COVID-19, the infamous personality took out a fry pan and magnifying glass to get rid of all the COVID-19 on the set, at one point even going for the show cameras and heckling one of the cameraman. However, after Kimmel asks Borat if he’s been tested for COVID-19, things take an even more cooked turn, with Borat flipping the tables on Kimmel and giving him a COVID-19 test of his own.

From asking Kimmel if he’s drunk any “unpasteurized children’s blood” as well as the “names and addresses of the last 12 prostitutes” Kimmel had been with, it was clear Borat was drunk on his IDGAF attitude. As if this wasn’t insane enough, the journalist then proceeded to ask Kimmel if he could stick a big-ass thermometer into his rear, all before he grabbed Kimmel’s crotch and request some of his “liquid release.”

The segment also featured Borat’s teen daughter (who’s just as wild as her father), who forced Kimmel to give her his pants in front of the Monday night crowd. Needless to say, Borat ended up pantsless too, and by the end of the segment it was clear that Borat never had any attention of plugging his new film, instead hoping to blow a hole in the culture. Safe to say he was successful.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe To American Regime For Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, will premiere on Amazon on Oct. 23. Check out his finest bit of promo below.
