The man will never quit…

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for a huge year of releases, titles ranging from film to TV locked and loaded as we get properly settled into 2021. From the trippy WandaVision to Thor: Love and Thunder, it’s clear the Marvel masterminds have got plenty of fire in the tank. Now, they’ve given us another small taste of that fire, dropping a killer Super Bowl teaser for the hotly-anticipated The Falcon and the Winter Soldier show.

Last time we saw Anthony Mackie’s Falcon and Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier, the poor blokes were saying farewell to a super old Steve Rogers. But now that their shared best mate is gone, the two are forced to come together to carry the mantle (and that heavy AF shield) of Captain America, as they set their sights on an apparently alive Baron Helmut Zemo, who, if you don’t remember, was a total piece of shit in Captain America: Civil War. But of course, hilarious banter ensues, with the two heroes continuously arguing like an old married couple and getting in some poorly-timed staring contests while attempting to take down old mate down.

The new trailer also features some killer special effects, fight scenes and explosions as the Marvel financiers throw every penny into the new release (the six episode season costed a whopping $150 million USD ($194 million AUD)). But alas, it’s totally worth it, with Mackie and Stan really cementing themselves as the new hotshots in the MCU.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s first episode drops on Disney+ on March 19. Check out the new trailer below.
