The coolest campaign reveal in history…

Delivering some special goodness WWE fans and hardcore action fans alike are gonna be jumping with joy to, The Rock has dropped the official trailer for his long-awaited series Young Rock, and it’s bloody explosive.

The trailer sees the People’s Champ explore his past, going all the way back to when he was 10-years-old in Hawaii to his legendary wrestling days before his expansive acting career. Oh, and he also teases fucking presidential bid for 2032, with a section of the trailer focusing on his future where he’s roughing it out in Washington, his sets sight on the Oval Office.

The show is pretty smart in how it weaves in the past with the future, with a 2032 Rock played by Rock himself (it’s confusing, I know) in an interview with a TV host (played by Randall Park) as he’s running for president. Naturally, Park asks him about his upbringing and how he got to where he is in 2032 – cue Young Rock show.

The trailer also features plenty of scenes with Rock’s family, his high school woes and everything in between, all injected with plenty of laughs that strike the perfect balance between cheesy and wholesome AF. It definitely looks like a whole lot of love has gone into the new show, and honestly we wouldn’t expect anything less from the Brahma Bull.

An official synopsis was released with the trailer that reads Young Rock is a single-camera comedy that tells the story of the wrestling star, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and actor’s colourful early years.

“From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy roller coaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he’s met along the way.

Well, I’m sold. Check out the trailer for the new show (out February 16) below.
