Man’s best friend will be the focus of Wes Anderson’s latest stop-motion film titled Isle Of Dogs, set to hit the big screen on March 23, 2018. The first trailer has now been revealed online, with a plot set in futuristic Japan. There, 12-year-old boy Atari Kobayashi goes on a massive journey in search of his dog Spots, who is one of many canines exiled to Trash Island by the government after an outbreak of dog flu. Throughout the trip, he runs into some villains and makes a few four-legged friends.
Though the movie surrounds itself with animated pups, there’s plenty of star power with the voicing cast, which includes the likes of Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton and Yoko Ono.
