Puff Daddy x Ciroc
In 2007 Diddy agreed to take on responsibility for Diageo’s Ciroc vodka brand in the United States. Since joining the project, unsurprisingly Diddy’s presence and business savvy has caused a significant boost in sales, and he gets to scowl in even more ads.
Ludacris x Conjure
Most celebrities just endorse liquor brands, but that’s not the case with Ludacris. He was actually involved with the blending process, and helped dictate the ultimate flavours, which include a ‘spices and hints of apple’. He also JUST dropped a new track – ‘Grass is Always Greener‘ which is definitely no ‘Act a Fool’. Maybe after a couple of Conjures.
Pharrell x Qream With A Q
Pharrell debuted ‘Qream With A Q’ Liqueur in 2011, which might be the worst thing he ever named – apart from ‘Blurred Lines’ – but everything hasn’t been peaches n’ cream since. He filed a $5 million lawsuit over a deal with his marketing partner after the brand didn’t do to well. Like everything, including his latest album, Pharrell claims the drink was inspired by ‘girls’ saying: “With Qream, every detail was crafted to celebrate women – from the elegant design of the bottle, inspired by royalty, to the delicious flavour and silky lightness of the liquid.” U-huh.
Fergie x Voli
In 2012 Fergie became a partner and owner of Voli Light Vodka, the world’s first low calorie vodka with natural flavours. Actively promoting white-girl-wasted.
Hanson x MMMhops
You can’t make this stuff up. 90’s boyband Hanson made a brief comeback with their signature bob cuts and limp lyrical prowess. But they did capitalise on the success of their single “MMMBop” and bottled it into, well, a bottle. The boy band’s beer is brewed in partnership with Oklahoma craft beer company, Mustang Brewing.
