Expect cosmic beats; a modern take on swinging hip-hop and samples from as far and wide when RBMA alumni and globe-trotting Parisian producer Onra performs as part of VIVID Live at Red Bull Music Academy presents The Studio and their on-going club series across Australia in May. 

Deftly working an MPC live as smoothly as he remixes Disclosure; Onra has carved out a name for himself as one of the most prolific hip-hop producers, releasing albums on All City Records and acclaimed NYC label Fool’s Gold. Since dropping his ‘Chinoseries’ collections – made from rare records found on his travels across China – and the old school vibes of his upcoming album ‘Fundamentals’ (out May 15th) few artists have the same ear for unusual samples that make the same blend of dusty milk crate hip-hop, soulful vocalists as club ready as Onra.
