Join the movement…

Afends are reminding us of the importance of looking after the planet, linking up with Plastic Free July for a limited edition capsule. Plastic Free July (which is a global initiative helmed with the aim of reducing single-use plastic wastage to ensure cleaner streets, oceans and communities) and the clothing brand are really immersing themselves in the fight for reduced wastage as well, embedding the important message in the various pieces from the capsule itself.

Designed in collaboration with Max Deboo, the new drop sees Afends explore the concepts of paradox and paradigm. Specifically, the paradigm of single-use plastic waste the global community is stuck in, yet the paradoxical decision that sustains it by continuing to abuse these products, despite knowing how much damage they cause.

However, the new collection is making a concentrated effort to respond to this, donating 10% of sales to Plastic Free July. And the best part is, Afends are inviting you to join the movement by signing up for the Plastic Free July challenge for one day, week or month. To make things a little sweeter, by doing so you could win up to $2000 worth of Afends gear by getting in on the fun.

Help reduce single-use waste while getting to rock some dope threads; it’s a total no-brainer. Get a look at some pieces from the capsule below and head to Afends to shop the full collection. You can also sign up for the challenge here.
