Now entering the seventh year of creative collaborations, Vans and Opening Ceremony have unveiled their strongest work to date.

Have you ever thought about the phrase “feast your eyes on this”? Like, what it actually means… Your eyes are devouring whatever they’re looking at. It’s always seemed a little weird to me. Until today. Having looked at the Vans X Opening Ceremony capsule, I completely understand what it feels like to be hungry for something you’re looking at, almost to the point of drooling.

The capsule includes a rejig of the classic Vans checkerboard pattern on an assortment of apparel, including a track suit-inspired jacket that includes a front zipper closure, toggle fasteners and a hidden hood. You’ll also notice two kicks that incorporate monochromatic uppers in orchid and baja blue, which we’re calling as two of the coolest colourways you’ll see this week.

“Vans has been a long-time creative partner of ours, and we’re so excited to collaborate on their iconic print this season,” says Opening Ceremony Creative Director Humberto Leon. “For this new capsule collection, Carol and I are inspired to reinvent the checkerboard, taking a new graphic approach to Vans’ classic pattern.”

Launching February 26th across Asia-Pacific region, the extensive collection will be made available on Vans.com.au, Vans retail locations and at select wholesale partners. Check it out below and set yourself a reminder – you don’t wanna sleep on this one!
