Dickies and Guy Mariano have joined forces to release a collaboration that fuses elements of 90s-influenced skatewear and streetwear. This seven-piece collection, now available at core skate shops and Dickies’ website, celebrates the brand’s deep-rooted connection to skateboarding.

To commemorate the launch of the collaboration capsule in Los Angeles, a select group of skateboarding icons gathered to celebrate the occasion. Among those present were Stephan Janoski, Christian Hosoi, Lance Mountain, and Atiba Jefferson, adding an extra layer of authenticity and camaraderie to the event. Their collective presence underscored the significance of the collaboration, bringing together legends of the sport to honour its heritage while embracing the evolution of skatewear and street fashion.

Renowned for its sturdy workwear, Dickies has been a staple choice among skateboarders seeking durable apparel capable of withstanding the rigours of their sport. Teaming up with Guy Mariano, a legendary figure in skateboarding who hails from Burbank, California, marks a significant expansion of Dickies’ offerings, catering to both skaters and streetwear aficionados.

Mariano’s illustrious career in skateboarding, marked by numerous accolades, brings a wealth of experience and authenticity to this collaboration. The collection draws inspiration from the vibrant skate scene of 1990s California, featuring iconic pieces such as Mariano’s signature jorts, athletic mesh shorts, a timeless striped polo, and a stylish 3/4 zip anorak.
