Taking to the streets of Rome, the label got some incredible shots, but also pissed off local authorities.

When first taking a look at ENKI Eyewear’s campaign it’s hard to tell just what they’re selling. Captured in Rome, the snaps resemble something that you would normally associate with a performance art piece, rather than a campaign shoot from a Sydney-based sunglasses label. It’s provocative, powerful, and aesthetically enticing.

Dodging Italian police with a teak crucifix they brought in from Bali, photographer/label owner Jesse Walker and model/collaborator Marisa Papen hit some of the country’s (and the world’s) most popular destinations, stripped down and snapped away. Check out the devilish results in the gallery above, and head here to check out the ENKI Eyewear range.
