Sydneysiders Pseushi have dropped their sophomore collection, which reinforces the brand’s moody roots and appreciation for film photography.

Running in stark contrast to their distorted debut lookbook, Collection 2 sees the garments championed in an effortlessly clean and minimal backdrop. The Pseushi name appears in understated stitching to bold arched logos, with their ‘Slow Down Again’ slogan becoming a reoccurring theme throughout the range – featuring prominently on some majestic gold embroidery. Film photographs bless two garments, including a hazy purple print that looks like gothic meets chopped-and-screwed. Also, shouts to model Jason Vuong for wearing triple black TNs in the lookbook for that low-key eshay stunt.

“‘Slow Down Again’ is about slowing the relentless advance of technology and culture – sometimes you need to switch off and skip an upgrade,” says Chris Loutfy, the co-brains behind the brand alongside Wesley Chiang. “I find myself caught up in all of it. This is a collection that is both current and also timeless. I like to wear clothes until I’ve worn them down to the point of being unwearable, and this collection is designed with that in mind.”

Did somebody say majestic gold embroidery? See the Collection 2 lookbook shot by Rachel Dray and styled by Christie Morgan below, while you can cop all garments over on Pseushi’s online store.
