Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?!

Reawakening everyone’s inner-kid, Vans have teamed up with the folks at Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants to release two custom ranges inspired by the beloved television show. Out today (July 2), the collaboration sees the staple brand answer our childhood dreams with a fashionable homage to Bob, Patrick and the rest of the Bikini Bottom gang.

The first drop includes Vans’ classic range of footwear and apparel with an under the sea twist. Fans can spot Spongebob’s pet snail Gary hidden in the checks of the Old Skool style shoe, and can catch up with Squidward on the graphic sleeves of the Best Buddies Hoodie. Decked out with the pineapple colour palette of Spongebob’s hometown, the collection is a hyper-animated nostalgia trip to Nickelodeon’s hey day.

Doubling the fun, the second collection features designs from Sandy Liang (no relation to the talking squirrel of the show), who reinterprets Spongebob’s iconic moments on a range of hi-top sneakers and garments. Inspired by the shows’ memorable graphics, Sandy’s designs revive the groovy flower cloud patterns of Bikini Bottom, complete with an accessories assortment starring the shows’ main characters.
