Check all the pro-skater boxes with Vans’ latest fancy footwear…

Fresh off the well-gripped heels of their 2020 collaboration, Hockey Skateboards and Andrew Allen have partnered with Vans to create a new, high-top take on Vans’ staple Authentic shoe. Designed alongside a skateboarding legend, the Vans x Hockey Authentic Hi draws on Andrew Allen’s knowledge of the sport to best cater to skaters’ fancy footwork. 

Hi-tech additions like rubber ollie pads, moulded heels and locked-in tongue straps give skater’s enhanced flexibility and durability, features that make the Authentic Hi the envy of the half-pipe. Allen knows that foot support is key, so the new PopCush footbeds allow for a comfy carve session, and promises even the most novice of skater’s a chance to strut their stuff. 

But for all it’s hi-tech aerodynamics (seriously, these guys have skating down to a precise science), the new collection is just as fashionable. Available in both red and white, the Authentic Hi also features Hockey’s signature dog graphic, with stitchings of Allen’s name offering a vicarious road to becoming one of the greats.
