Fashion 11m

The people have spoken, Mambo have listened.

If you’re too young to remember Mambo’s ‘Loud’ shirts, we pity you. They’re about as Aussie as a kangaroo riding with an emu across the Nullarbor in a car made out of gum trees and VB cans – funnily enough, that’s a picture we could imagine featuring on one of them. They first dropped in 1984 and quickly became Australia’s original (and best) party shirt due to their in your face graphics and never-seen-before level of cheek.

With the party season upon us Mambo have recruited a team of artists, including OG ‘Loud’ shirt partner Reg Mombassa, to hit us with a fresh wave of ‘Loud’. The designs include titles like “The Violent Hen” and “Bombs Of Knowledge”, so you’ve probably guessed how epic they are looking. Check out our shoot with LWA favourites Mitch Crews and Lewie ‘Dunni’ Dunn rocking ‘Loud’ above, and follow this link to shop the ‘Loud’ shirts now:
