As he continues to build hype for the yearly festivities, Travis Scott has added a special perk for our fellow sneaker addicts…
The reward comes in the form of an unnamed Travis Scott x Nike shoe that’ll be up for grabs on Tuesday and Wednesday of Astroweek.
For those unfamiliar with the soon-to-be holiday, it’s a week of events and activations with brands like Nike and Jordan Brand, all centred around Scott’s Astroworld festival, which is this year host to the likes of Tame Impala’ SZA, Toro Y Moi and in what’s a gorgeous throwback, Earth, Wind & Fire.
But it seems like the new kicks are only available to a select group of attendees, being sold through Nike’s SNKRS Pass feature, which is an exclusive Nike Member Reward that allows you to reserve and buy select Nike Sneakers from a nearby Nike Store, all from your phone.
Naturally, the store in question will be Scott’s own Space Village in Houston, with users needing to be within a specific proximity of it to get access to the shoes. But as is always the case with technology, many SNKRS users have been able to fool the app in the past and still acquire the kicks, most recently at Nike’s Off-White X Air Force 1 Low event in July.
