.Paak is no stranger to Vans.
You might think that funk-flavoured drummer and Grammy award winner Anderson .Paak’s affiliation with Vans kicked off a couple of years ago when they released a collaborative collection, but the truth is it goes way further back. Back in 2007 a then 21-year-old .Paak moved from his hometown of Oxnard, California to attend drumming school in Hollywood. To support himself while he studied, he picked up work slinging Vans in their Canoga Park store in LA, and thus began a 15-year friendship.
Of course, like any great musician, .Paak knows that you’ve got to recognise greatness when you see it, and always pay respect to the classics.
