Looking for some new summer threads to drape yourself in this beach season? Keep on reading, as Vans are teaming up with T&C to celebrate the Hawaii-based surf brand’s 50th anniversary…

Footwear, shorts, tees; the new drop has a little something for everyone to dive into (or with). Naturally, it takes influence from both brands, esteemed hallmarks of the Vans and T&C aesthetic being mixed in a melting pot of skate and surf.

For a little backstory, T&C Surf was started in 1971 by Craig Sugihara, and has since gone on to become one of the world’s leading surfboard manufacturers. Naturally, with such a storied history; a collab with Vans makes perfect sense.

The new drop leads with the Skate Sk8-Hi 138 Decon SF, a multi-coloured piece laid with a Checkerboard print along with Vans Sidestripe detailing and a black and white Checkerboard side wall. To cap it off, a T&C Surf Hawaii is embroidered on the heel counter in addition to a custom T&C Surf Designs patch on the upper.

Other footwear styles include the Authentic SF and the Vans x T&C UltraRange EXO, the former utilising a similar design scheme to the Skate Sk8-Hi 138 Decon SF while the latter utilises both a Checkerboard pattern along with bright colour pops and a custom T&C yin yang patch.

In terms of apparel, the drop includes a plenty of Vans and T&C insignia, the likes of fleece pullovers, long and short sleeve tees, boardshorts all embroided with checkerboard styling and explosions of colour; continuing the synchronicity between the two brands from footwear to the apparel. To finish things off, the drop also includes a Vans x T&C Mini Ward cross body bag, so whether you’re off on your next surf trip or just need to carry plenty with you on the go, they’ve got you covered.

The Vans x T&C Collection is available via Vans retail locations and vans.com.au. For now, check out some more pieces from the collection in action below.
