After setting the world alight with their duck collab way back in June, Vans and Palace are getting experimental with their November follow-up…

The second collaboration sees Vans and the London-based skate brand turn their gaze to the Vans Sk8-Hi, revamping them with a fungi-faithful twist.

Colour-wise the joint-effort makes use of earthy tones, coming in three colourways that range from black/blue, marshmallow and yellow. The detailing is where the mushrooms are really on display however, Palace shroom designs taking up residence around the classic Sk8-Hi stripe.

To show off the new collab, the skate brands have tapped team riders Danny Brader and Rory Milanes to reprise their lead roles in the accompanying clip, trading the office attire they donned in their duck collab clip for that of lab coats as they experiment to make the perfect Sk8-Hi. It’s definitely a lot more eerie than their film debut, moody lighting and spine-tingling music driving home the experimental nature of the clip and the kicks themselves.

Looks like Spooky Season isn’t ending any time soon. The new Vans X Palace Sk8-His will be dropping on November 5th via vans.com.au. Check out some more images of the collab below, featuring Vans and Palace team riders Danny Brader and Rory Milanes.
