Things are looking up.

I feel ready to take on 2021 in these kicks.

Ready to put the god-awful year that was 2020 in the rearview mirror? Us too. If 2020 was a person, it’d be a loud obnoxious arsehole that doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up and go home. Thankfully now, with the rolling over of the calendar and the ushering in of a brand new year, things will slowly start to get better, and Van’s latest drop is a good reason to hope that the tides might be turning.

Teaming up with Chinese designer Suwukou for the ‘Year Of The Ox’ collection, they’ve taken some classic Vans cuts – the Old Skool, Sk8 Hi, and Era – and given them a strong monochromatic facelift that is capable of staring down anything this year can throw at us. The collection also includes sweaters and jackets that feature unique graphics designed by Chinese artist Gaga (Peng Lei) and Chen Tian Zhuo, C2H4 founder Chen Yi Xi and Vans China skate team rider Xiang Xiao Jun.
