It’s been a decade since The Game split from G-Unit, resulting in a feud that dominated 2000s hip-hop with conviction – but it could finally be coming to an end, with reports that a reunion and movie about the supergroup is in the works.

Back then, G-Unit dominated both coasts with projects from respective members – New York goon 50 Cent was still skyrocketing from his landmark album Get Rich Or Die Tryin in 2003, while he also played a crucial role in The Game’s Compton classic The Documetary which dropped in 2005. The Game soon split from the faction over accusations of disloyalty to 50 and his respective enemies, resulting in a slinging war of words, diss tracks and altercations that have lasted over 10 years.

Now, it might all be over: Last night, DJ Drama shared a sneak preview of the video for his upcoming track ‘Wishing’ which features a cameo from 50 Cent in the video. Pharaoh Jackson, a rapper signed to The Game’s Blood Money imprint, shared a photo of The Game which showed that he was also in the same location – The Hollywood Hills Residential. Moreover, he posted a caption on Instagram suggesting that G-Unit will reunite, as well as a Straight Outta Compton style documentary about the group:

For many who grew up in the 2000s, the possibility of 50 and The Game reuniting alongside Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck is monumental – let’s hope that it comes into fruition. It seems like a lot of hearsay right now, but we all know 50 Cent is a businessman – and a G-Unit reunion sounds mighty lucrative to us. Meanwhile, relive some of the magic that the two made together all those years ago:
