While most of Mallrat’s friends are heading to university, the 18-year-old Brisbane sensation spent 2016 touring with Allday and Thundamentals, and is now set for her own headline tour!

Sitting somewhere between bouncing electronica and suburban rap, Mallrat’s music is all delivered with a tangy pop twist that’s highly danceable and near impossible to ignore. She’s the self-proclaimed ‘Hannah Montana of the rap game,’ and while we’re hoping that this is an additional nod to Migos, it doesn’t really matter when her tracks are this damn catchy.

Her Uninvited EP gained traction on Triple J and the international corners of the blogosphere, and now she’ll be performing her faves in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this April.

Sydney collective Sidechains will be presenting the tour and hopping on support duties, having recently performed alongside international sensations like Yung Lean and Keith Ape. Moreover, their weekly FBi Radio program and monthly party (the next of which is going down tomorrow night) continues their mission to uncover the Internet’s more niche producers with booming, bass-heavy results.
