Taking to social media to announce the news, the organisers behind the beloved festival cited a wide range of reasons behind the cancellation such as “supply chain issues and labour shortages, difficult economic conditions” and numerous more including “extreme weather patterns and infrastructure costs”.
“We were really looking forward to backing up our two huge events from earlier this year where it was so great to party with everyone back in February and March,” they added. “For now, the team feels the smartest thing is to take a rest and be fresh and ready for THIS THAT again in November 2023.
It definitely is sad news to receive just as festival season kicks off into full swing. However, we’ve already been giving something to look forward to, with the festival announcing October 28th and November 4th for the Queensland and NSW stops of the festival next year. No doubt they’ll be back better than ever. Check out their full statement below.
