Well, that’s your weekend playlist sorted, courtesy of Loods.

Last time we saw Loods it was from the cockpit of a plane at Splendour in the Grass Mud. It was the first day, the one where everything was called off – the beginning of the end – and Loods was playing late at night on the only still-functioning stage. It was like an oasis in the middle of a desert, only this time it was freezing cold instead of a sweltering wasteland.

Don’t know if it was the rain soaking our skin or… other things… but that night cemented Loods as a top-tier DJ and producer in our eyes.

Fast forward a few years and the understated Aussie is still releasing a steady stream of heaters while lending his skills to some massive remixes – each release going from strength to strength as he stamps his house-y brand of euphoria in every corner of the globe.

Now he can tick off another milestone: performing in the vape-smoke-filled sweat factory that is Boiler Room London – and by god, he delivers. Featuring all unreleased music, including collabs with Kettama, Partyboi69, X Club and more, the set feels like the culmination of years of exploration and experimentation.
