RÜFÜS – Atlas (Light / Dark Deluxe Edition)

A year ago to the day, RÜFÜS released their debut album ‘Atlas’ . And today, in celebration of what has proven to be a straight up musical high five, the boys are proud to present the; Light/Dark Deluxe Edition of ATLAS.

Atlas Light/Dark is a double album (or extra tracks for the digital savvy) that celebrates the tracks from the original release, whilst taking things to a deeper, darker and doper level with a disc of remixes from some of the finest local and international artists in the electronic game, Touch Sensitive, The Presets, Classixx, Hayden James, Motez and Miguel Campbell are some of the highlights of this roll-call. Quite simple really, the ‘Light Disc’ is everything you love and the ‘Dark Disc’ is everything you will love. This is a release for RUFUS fans, and anyone with an ear for dance music at its finest.

“I guess during our studio sessions there is always a bit of a battle between light and dark elements in our writing. Some have the warmth and lightness to them that we love, while others are really based around darker driving tones which we also get into. This release is about exploring the light and dark sides of all those tracks and working with some of our favourite local and international peers to bring something new to release, creating a totally different listening experience.” – Jon George

So put your headphones on and get lost in the sounds that is RÜFÜS and enjoy your Friday.
