The Sydney three-piece tease another soaring track from their forthcoming sophomore record.

Currently doing Australia very proud over in the US, indie-dance act Crooked Colours are working hard in cementing their status as global movers and shakers in the electro scene. Today, with the release of ‘Do It Like You’, it’s clear that the group are well on their way to achieving those goals.

The track which combines the tribal/Eastern guitars and percussion sections that have become synonymous with Crooked Colours, was written whilst the group were on tour in Europe, and captures the sound they had been chasing for the new album which is due out early 2019.

“Releasing and touring our first album gave us a real sense of what we enjoyed playing live and what made us feel most connected with our crowds. Finding direction was guided so much by the relationships we built with new fans and friends we made and that felt like the perfect fit for the second single to show,” frontman Phil Slabber says.

Crooked colours will be heading home for a run of festival shows including Laneway and Corona SunSets at the end of this year and the beginning of 2019 – info here.
