Hopefully it’s worthy of a bad girl reread… Sorry.

They always say that turning 40 is a big one, and clearly the same notion applies to the magazine world that does to people, with Vice i-D recruiting none other than Rhianna to curate their 40th anniversary issue. The hard-copy magazine will feature inspirational women across a variety of mediums including fashion, art, culture and activism.

The global music/acting superstar has selected the subjects and highlighted in the zine which was shot by Italian photographer and director Mario Sorrenti. So far, names such as Bella Hadid, Alexa Demie and Kelela are among the names attached to the issue.

“For me, this very special issue of i-D represents change and culture,” Rihanna said. “It is dedicated to some of the people who are progressively reshaping the communities across fashion, music, art, and activism — creating a more inclusive and diverse future.”

“Working with Rihanna we handpicked the people featured in this project for many different reasons; they may all represent different things but what unites them is that everyone featured in these pages is incredibly inspirational,” i-D editor-in-chief Alastair McKimm They are artists, writers, activists, musicians and women on the front lines of the fashion industry demanding change.”

The “Rihannazine” will be limited to 5,000 copies and launches globally starting on January 27.
