It’s just under a fortnight until Drake releases his fifth album Scorpion, and it looks like the release might be accompanied by some Australian tour dates.

We’re prepared to see more from the Canadian rapper over the next few weeks – and while he’s remained relatively quiet since being buried by Pusha T in their highly publicised feud, we have no doubts that there’s a few monster singles on Scorpion that are ready to be unleashed. Now, Drake’s Australian promoters Illusive Presents have hinted towards an Australian tour in the near future.

Over the weekend, the took to their social media pages to post an image of Drake in an Australian jersey, together with green and gold hearts in the caption. It alludes to Drizzy making a return down under, but could also be interpreted as simply showing support for the Socceroos in the world cup:

Drake last visited Australia for his Boy Meets World tour in 2017, and with a new album under his belt, we may be getting a whole new live show. Fingers crossed.
