It seems that since its 2018 beginnings, Dylan Alcott’s Ability Fest has grown and grown. Today they’ve dropped their biggest lineup to date, with the completely accessible festival sharing a slew of homegrown and international heavyweights that will take to the stage at Birrarung Marr on March 25th.
Aussie hip-hop royalty Hilltop Hoods will headline, with Alex Lahey, NZ’s Broods, Sampa The Great, DZ Deathrays all on board too. Plus there are plenty of opportunities for anyone looking to shred the dance floor with Mashd N Kutcher, PARIS, dameeeela, Linda Marigliano, Tyson O’Brien, Juno Mamba, Latifa Tee, Mulalo and Tiff Cornish all gracing the decks.
With accessibility at the forefront, organisers have also catered to all abilities with elevated platforms, pathways, a dedicated sensory area, quiet zones, companion ticketing, ramps, friendly volunteers, Auslan interpreters, accessible toilets and more.

“I’m so proud to see the path Ability Fest has already paved for inclusive events across the country. First and foremost, our main priority is to create a kick-ass festival that happens to be accessible. And that’s something I think we’ve achieved since launching in 2018,” says Alcott.
