The veteran rapper touches down for the first time in nearly a decade…

Following the shock announcement of Earl Sweatshirt’s return Down Under, the nation’s hip hop community has been burning with anticipation, itching to see one of the most important rappers of the 2010s up close and personal. Understandably, tickets have been flying out the door for his headline tour, with his shows in Sydney and Melbourne selling out and Brisbane and Auckland down to final tickets. Now, however, we’ve gotten a little bit of good news, with the ‘Chum’ MC adding a second show in Melbourne.

Now, Earl will be taking to the Northcote Theatre for a two night run, from October 17th to 18th. Tickets for the new Melbourne show will go on sale to Frontier Members on Wednesday, July 12, and to the general public on Thursday, July 13. Understandably, tickets are set to fly for the second offering, so you best get in quick.

It’s no doubt slated to be a massive batch of shows for Earl adherents around the country, with the former Odd Future member having been absent from the country for nearly a decade. To top things off, he’ll be playing at Yours & Owls in Wollongong on October 15th, in case you were up for a second or third helping of his signature brand of hip hop and R&B.
