Eminem’s always been one to break the mould in the world of hip hop. Whenever his contemporaries went right, he went as far left as he could go, so much so that it eventuated in an Oscar for his hit song ‘Lose Yourself’ (along with one of the worst albums of all time in Revival, but we’re focusing on the positives here).

And so, he’s continued upholding that mantra with his latest career move, opening a restaurant named after one of his own lyrics. Naturally, the infamous ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ line from ‘Lose Yourself’ was the lucky winner, with Slim opening a spot focused on fulfilling all of Detroit’s pasta needs and more.

It’s pretty hard opening a restaurant in any situation. Throw in the fact that we’re in a global pandemic, and you’ve got a tall order on your hands. Luckily, Em was more than willing to help out, heading down for the grand opening to serve the first ten feasters of ‘Mom’s Spaghetti.’

Along with hopping in the drive through, the multi-platinum rapper leant his talents to a teaser for the new spot, getting extra meta as he vomited out some ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ product over the Detroit skyline. It’s a brief cameo, but it manages to hook you for the rest of the clip (I somehow already know their menu back to front).
