Captain Franco is no stranger to crafting a little mix here and there, and now he delivers #anotherone right as we dive headfirst into the holidays, aptly titled These Wavy Days, Vol.1.
As one half of Halfway Crooks, Captain Franco has spent the last seven years getting dancefloors severely turnt with rap and R&B heaters at one of Sydney’s favourite longstanding club nights. One of Franco’s great accomplishments (aside from recently becoming a Dad) has been his ability to showcase seasoned artists alongside the new school – and it’s this unpretentious approach to hip-hop that’s made him a local favourite.
On These Wave Days, Vol. 1, Franco looks towards some of R&B’s more recent breakout stars for inspiration. There’s plenty of R&B from the likes of Mila J, Tinashe and Tory Lanez, while incoming Australian visitors like Ty Dolla Sign, Post Malone and Young Thug have us very excited for the gig calendar in 2017.
Running at a 78 minutes long, These Wavy Days Vol.1 is the a marathon mix and the perfect way to wind down after a chaotic year where Trump became President and Fifth Harmony lost a member. Listen below, and bring on Vol. 2 ASAP:
