One of Owusu’s trippiest clips yet…

Hot off a busy 2022 that saw him tour the world, win multiple ARIAs and support Tame Impala, artist on the rise Genesis Owusu has released the music video for his latest hit, ‘Get Inspired’.

Clocking in at a total of three minutes long, the visuals (directed by Babekuhl and Chris Yeezy) overwhelm Genny Wu with visual effects as he dances in response to the shabby sonics. Pixelation, flashing lights, replication, just about every visual tool you can think of is put to use over the clip, enhancing the track’s moodiness in turn.

The video as a whole is definitely the most striking of Genesis’ past releases, and makes a nice companion to the Apple Fitness+ ad that saw ‘Get Inspired’ soundtrack a bunch of gym-goers in their daily grind. Talk about range hey?
